The Mighty Quinn is a year old. I adopted her last month. Sweetest dog! I got her all sorts of different types of toys. She ignores each and every one of them. However, much to my husband's chagrin, she loves to chew on whatever she finds out in the yard: the garden hose, his work gloves, his garden shoes, tarps.... and she loves to dig. The digging part is easy: this weekend we are making her a digging box.

My question to you is how do I get her interested in acceptable chew toys? She likes fresh bones and dried buffalo lung (not the greatest smelling things but she loves them). I'm hoping the digging box entices her to stop trying to dig up our yard and she'll bury her bones in that. In the house, I haven't found anything that she'll play with other than us and the cats (which they don't always care for).

Thanks for your input.

So my new 4 month old puppy and I have been inseperable since I got him about 2 months ago. He's been pretty much an angel, but still a rambuncious little baby.
I take him everywhere with me. To work, for car rides, and walks. I even have him sleep in my bed along with my chihuahua.
The only problem is that he recently started howling whenever I leave him. I feel like it's a little late in the game for him to suddenly have anixety because he was fine prior a week and a half ago. I can't even go into the garage and shut the door without him starting to how if I don't come back 15 seconds later.

I've tried to ignore him and I have no idea how long he carries on once I leave the house. I'm fine with him howling if a garbage truck drives by or if he hears something, just not every time I'm away. Any advice?

Hello to everyone.
I grew some waterfowl and protection dogs before i came in beagling.
I' m new in the forum and hares hunting with beagles too.

My pup was a 13weeks old female.
I just start to trail scent at 9 weeks, with a cloth drag with scent at first and with a baby rabbit a week after.

At this time she's start to eat the scat of the rabbit on the backyard and also when i take her in the wood she's eat every berry,s of the hares she find on the ground
I think she' s eat enough at home...

Somebody know something about that? some feedback?
It's ok or not?
thank you.
