HI I am bengunn and I recently rescued a 3yr old beagle. Her name is Joy, but might soon be Molly. We haven't decided yet. I have never had a beagle before, my last 2 dogs were heelers. A Queensland blue, best dog I have had so far and a red mix. I really think my new beagle will rival that. Just wanted to say HI and ask if putting an electric wire back up for Joy would be a good idea so soon. I have had Joy/Molly for only 4 days, but she seems determined to find a way under the fence. I thought I would not get another dog, so I got rid of my fence charger, but then I saw this adult beagle at the shelter.

Welcome to our forum, and thanks for rescuing a Beag in need of a family.
As for her trying to find a way out under fence , she is probably a little scared of this new world she is in. Try some bonding walks and feed some of her kibble by hand on your walks or at play time together. As for the fence charger , if that is what it takes to keep her safe and from getting out I would say yes put your electric wire back up. You have no history on her so give lots of love and attention to help her settle in with your family. Post back and let us know how everything is going.
