    Dragging bottom on ground

Are there specific ailments/worms from this action?

    nehrke .

Yes. Scooting is almost always a sign something is irritating your dog.

Some of the most common reasons dogs drag their bottom include:

    1. Anal Sac Problems.

    2. Parasite/worms.

    3. Fecal contamination/diarrhea.

When was last Vets check up , shots , fecal test?

What dog food do you feed?

Is your dog on Heart Worm Prevention meds , if yes, which one? Do you use flea prevention product , if yes , which one?

Could you say dog breed , age , weight?

My beagles occasionally scooch their butts and it is usually a mild irritation from loose poop or something. But if they do it alot and seem very uncomfortable I get them checked for worms or anal gland issues. If there is a foul odor when the dog scooches, it will most likely be anal gland related.
