Natural Dewormers

There are lots of "talk" about going back to nature and using natural herbal therapy and medications that exist and abound in nature.

I'm interested with natural/herbal dewormers...Has anyone actually tried using it for their dogs?

Try Diatomaceous earth which can be added to your dog's daily diet.

1 teaspoon for every 25 pounds body weight

Be sure you have the food grade Diatomaceous earth and not the kind being used in filtering swimming pools. You can easily find this at your local garden store or online.

I've tried diatomaceous earth that I got from our local garden shop. Just mix 1 tsp in your dog's food. don't use the DE used for pool filters though. So far, I haven't had any worm problems with my Jamby.

I have tried using an excellent herbal formula that I bought online. Haven't really had any problems with worms now.

It says on my container 1/2 teaspoon for miniature dogs.

Thanks so much! I had bought some food grade for my horses earlier this year....I'll start my little ones on it as well now. I feed them kibble so will have to buy some wet to mix it into each day. Thanks again!!

Diatomaceous earth is microscopic skeletons that are mined from the ground. What is the difference between food grade and filter grade? Has it been processed in some way?
