I got a 1 year old beagle he is a good boy who was never trained i had him a few months now any one know how to get him not to run or to come back when called? he goes after more than rabbits im used to an old lazy beagle we had for years who past away over a year ago and my beagle/pitt mix is lazy but when let lose she stays with me any help?

We have a one year old beagle we have had since he was 4 months, he is now just starting to come when when call. Its all in the tone in your voice and always remember to praise when they do come when called.

As for the rabbit thing, it is a part of their instinct.... which is why I hardly leave mine off leash when walking... just in case!!!
