Hi All!

I'm just looking to get some ideas. I have a 6ft privacy fence around my back yard, but nothing in my front, and would like to be able to do something up there so my beagle (Lily) could join me when up front doing yard work. I've looked at corkscrews and I think that may be more of a hazard for me - tripping over the line, forgetting to pull it before mowing, etc. I was thinking about a dog run/trolley but I see they're frowned upon. Are they still frowned on if your dog is never left unsupervised on them? I would never do anything to hurt Lily, but her running off would be a very bad thing since the neighborhood I live in is in the city and fairly well trafficked. Any suggestions appreciated

If you use a harness on her with the trolley and are out there with her, that would be safer than the corkscrew. You can get an x-pen to set up also, one of those portable fences for dogs (as long as she isn't a jumper).

*nod* Thank you ma'm! She's always on a harness so that wouldn't be a problem. I didn't think of the X pen since she likes to roam and sniff so much I thought she'd get more exercise with a trolly. Still - a lot of work on my part to make it happen
