First started as a cough....I diagnosed as kennel cough. Then another of my hounds lost sense of smell....ran along with the pack, hearked as always....never opened on the trail. Only four days earlier had tracked, opened, and ran as normal. Still eats but is not consuming as much food as usual. Another in the kennel has started a sneeze. CDC states that although possible, Covid 19 is not thought to affect dogs. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this. I never knew kennel cough to affect the sense of smell in dogs.
