Can you reward for rabbit tracking but not for deer? i would think a beagle would respond well to reward.

I am just reading this topic to learn. I have two rescue beagles that do not hunt but I love to let them "do their thing". Isn't it true that rabbits will run a big circle, that is why your hounds will come back. But if they track a deer they could get lost?
