Do Bark Collars Effect Dogs Once E Collar is on. Need expert Advise

I have a 2 Year old. I Live in New York City with people living close by. I HAVE to put a bark collar on him or else he would bark throughout the night. When I take him in the feild I put and E collar him to keep him from running trash etc... NOW as we all know the prongs from the bark collar are basically the same as the E collar. Does anyone think that when the E collar is on him he wont open up because he thinks he will get shocked?
