I have a 2 year old, hes kinda shy once in a while. when I put his collar on or when i go to pet him first thing in the morning he gets real low and looks at me side ways once we get playing he goes crazy in a good way though..does anyone think this would effect him once in the field.?

No, I don't think that'll affect him. Once you get them out in the field where you know rabbits are, they'll just get that snout down and start tongueing away. My puppy does the same thing, but it usually just means they're excited to see you, and they absolutely love belly rubs! Give em a nice belly rub, and then take them out to play! My beagle absolutely loves laser pointers, you should try one yourself.
