I have 3 Beagle and despite using an ear cleaner with a drying agent, one of my Beagles got an ear infection while visiting damp San Francisco. Vet said as he was also licking his feet, he probably had allergies. I now do his ears twice a week. Most long-earred dogs are prone to ear infections as there is not much air circulating around the ear.
