My beagle, Lola, is about 10 months old. I have had her since she was 7 weeks old. She is a healthy weight, about 19lb. Since she was 7 weeks, every time we put her recommended amount of food in her bowl (twice per day), she would devour it instantly, sometimes without even chewing the whole pieces. After about 6 months we moved from Purina Puppy Chow, to Purina Dog Chow (at the recommendation of the vet). This did not alter her routine, and she continued eating. After about 8 months, we are still on the same routine. I feed her at the same times every day 8am and 5pm. However, now when I put the food in her bowl, she will go up to it and smell it and then walk away. Sometimes she doesn't eat her breakfast until around 12pm, and there have been occasions where I have come home from work at 5 and she still hasn't eaten it. Similarly when I feed her dinner, she does the same things, and usually eats around 9 pm, and sometimes it will still be there in the morning. My house is relatively clean and there is no garbage or food laying around for her to eat during the day. She occasionally has a beef hide chew, but nothing out of the ordinary. I don't know what is wrong with her, and I need advice.

You can try adding a bit of warm water and stirring in something for flavor like a small amount of canned food, plain yogurt, or a bit of fish oil. My beagles are pigs and inhale their food in seconds but I know if I just dump dry food in the bowl they would pick at it.
