Hi, I'm new here but have searched the Beagles Unlimited site for years about health care. I'm very happy to see a group now. It's so generous of Beagles Unlimited to share their knowledge! I've gone through the rules and couldn't find an answer to a question I had, so I'd like to ask before going any farther. Is it alright for me to be here if I have a Chihuahua instead of a beagle?

Thank You,
Erica

Erica ,
We welcome all who love and care for their dogs. It is very much alright for you and your Chihuahua to be here.
I was around before this was a forum too. As you know already , this forum is a rich source of information. Most here , already have a Beagle or Beagle mix , however , many are here just for information on Beagles or general dog help
When you have time post some pics of your dog.

Question

That was my question, if It was alright if I had Chihuahuas instead of beagles. I can't tell you how much I used the sites information before. I cured giardiasis and coccidia many times with the sites help! Hardest part is changing the dosage for a smaller dog! I keep going over my math to make sure I have the dose right! I'm so glad Chihuahuas are welcome. Always loved this site, now there's people here that actually like talking about dogs! Can you believe, some people don't!

Erica ,
I'm very glad you have found the information useful , and , just so you will know, there has been a few Chihuahuas in my extended family over the years. I've been a Beagle owner years ago but now have other breeds of hounds in the dogs I do rescue work with.
