Bandaging materials, tweezers, hydrogen peroxide, small scissors, styptic powder. Can't really think of anything else at the moment.

That is some good advice Orrymain. Or if your vet is good with letting you call them after hours/weekends, then keep their number handy.

Do add these-- mineral oil (used as a laxative), Pepto Bismol, antibiotic ointment (I use Bacitracin), 70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol, oral syringes, ointment for ear infections, eye infection, and skin infections.

Wow, that is pretty scary. I am glad to read that every one is ok. Perhaps adding some benadryl (the regular benadryl, just plain) to that list would be helpful. Double check with the vet on dosage amounts though. And be sure no other meds are being given at the same time.

These ones are equally important too--pepto bismol, q-tips, first aid tape, epsom salts, antiseptic whites, needle, thread, and safety pins of various sizes

yes, I am curious on the pepto bismol also. Lots of great ideas here. I am thinking of adding some of these things to my home first aid kit I have for my pets.

Glad to read they are OK. I love all the ideas. I would also throw in a few old towels, water bottle, plastic bags for the garbage, small first aid book for reference.
