Do add these-- mineral oil (used as a laxative), Pepto Bismol, antibiotic ointment (I use Bacitracin), 70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol, oral syringes, ointment for ear infections, eye infection, and skin infections.
thanks every one for the help. i been wanting toget some thing together the other day made me get started.i took my 2 boys to go run the dogs i got for them when the dogs got in some trash an found some bumble bees i ran my boy to the truck an head to helpthe dogs poor things was getting stung up an i got stung tring to help them all i could do is grab them an run to the truck my uncle lives down the road from where i was so i went there to check the dogs out he gave them some meds. an we watch them for awhile but they r doing just fine. my uncle told me them dogs r lucky i am nuts an love them cuz if i had not gone to get them them bee would have kill them .
Wow, that is pretty scary. I am glad to read that every one is ok. Perhaps adding some benadryl (the regular benadryl, just plain) to that list would be helpful. Double check with the vet on dosage amounts though. And be sure no other meds are being given at the same time.
These ones are equally important too--pepto bismol, q-tips, first aid tape, epsom salts, antiseptic whites, needle, thread, and safety pins of various sizes
yes, I am curious on the pepto bismol also. Lots of great ideas here. I am thinking of adding some of these things to my home first aid kit I have for my pets.
Glad to read they are OK. I love all the ideas. I would also throw in a few old towels, water bottle, plastic bags for the garbage, small first aid book for reference.
