First beagle?
My first beagle was a rescue that was half beag & fox terrier, but he was "all beagle" in personality! He loved to hunt rabbits & quail & still holds the record as a multilingual non-human in the family! He
learned commands & "words to avoid" in english, spanish & swedish! (Even if we spelled out the word for "bath" in those 3 languages he would run & hide)! That scrawny little beag nearly died after I
adopted him from the shelter on 02/02/1976, but he survived distemper & a very bad case of worms to live with us for 13 years!
