I just bought an 8 month old beagle he has been here for a week now and still does not like our other dog, is he still at the warming up stage or never going to like him. Second question is if i have the beagle snipped will that effect his hunting capabilities I am just afraid that i spent all the money on him that i have and he just turn out to be the outside dog that just barks when someone pulls in the driveway. I am still kind of new at this so any help is welcome

He can totally learn to be ok with your other dog. Walking them together is a great way to help them bond. If they aren't fighting at all, then just give them time. Most times when I got another dog, it took awhile for them to really be pals.
Not sure about the neutering and hunting but I can't imagine it would do anything to his drive for the hunt.
