Sounds like he needs some training to be separated from you since you have him with you so much throughout the day. Start with small departures, like out to the mailbox, a walk up the street etc. When you leave, give him a toy and/or treat and just say calmly "be right back" or something like that. The more you go in and out, and remain calm each time, he will get used to your leaving. You can leave a TV or radio on too. Is he with your other dogs when you leave? He will learn to rely on them too as his family.
