Hi i'm new to this forum. i only have had a beagle a year and a half before that i owned a dachsie until she died at the age of 16 years! i have a beagle named kimmy. while i know that beagles bark alot, i would like to know how do i prevent the excessive barking at people?? Another thing she does is she barks at any thing trees, leaves blowing around. i also have an alarm clock and if she sees the time showing she will bark and growl at it and i have to face the alarm clock the opposite direction. by the way my beagle is 20 months old!!
a lot, mine is about 15 months and the barking has gotten better. I found the more exercise mine gets the more relaxed he is at home. chew toys also help to to keep them occupied.
