Hello, just found this forum. We've raised beagles for 14 years and currently have 10 (maybe soon to be 11) beagles. They're our second set of kids and our brain medicine. I hope I can be of help to some people since I've had beagles around so long.

11 beagles now.

Our latest is a rescue too. Tried to find the owner (posted everywhere, radio, newspapers, pound, humane society, etc) but haven't had any success. She is an adorable half-grown tricolor, about 6-7 months old. We call her Emma. I don't know how you could lose such a sweet little girl and not look everywhere for her.
It usually isn't hard to manage them all, they love being in a pack. All my females are spayed now (except Emma) so that helps a lot. They are in and out of the house with a doggie door and have a huge fenced area, about an acre, plus we have another 5 acres adjacent to public land. They are pretty well behaved for beagles, of course that means my definition of not too hard to manage is probably not the same as most people. But they are all worth the trouble and mischief and money; they bring us so much joy! Dog Dog breed Carnivore Companion dog Fawn
