HELP! Are my two week old puppies at the right weight? Do I have to supplement milk?
Hi There,
I rescued a beagle and four pups that are approximately 10-15 days old. They were born in a shelter, so I have no way of knowing their true age, but their eyes are just opening. The mom's in bad shape but getting better. However, I don't know if the pups are putting enough weight on. How many ounces should a beagle pup be gaining in a day? week? I've been checking their weight everyday, and it goes up by a few ounces, but I don't know if it's enough. I haven't supplemented their milk yet, but I'm afraid if I don't, they'll get weak soon and die. PLEASE HELP!
