Help!!!!! I would like to say thank's to the website for the most complete information I have been able to find about WORMS. I was wondering if anyone fimiliar with deworming could help me to calculate the dose for my two labs 75 and 100lbs. I saw for the beagles it was 1ml per 5lb dog...this is easy enough i just wanted to know if that scale would be applicable to this larger weight (20ml per day 3days)??????If anyoune could provide some insight it would be greatly appricated.

Thanks again

I loved your information about low cost deworming. I went ahead and ordered the Safe-Guard Fenbendazole but since I only have a couple of beagles I opted for the 125 ml Goat size bottle rather than the 1000 ml horse size bottle. You suggested dosing 1 ml per 5 lb dog weight but the directions for use on goats printed on the bottle are 0.6 ml per 25 lbs which is 2.3 ml per 100 lbs. Is the dosing just different for dogs? I want to make absolutely certain before giving this medication to my beloved dog. The differences are quite large.

I have the same question as TampaZeke. On the label it the dose for goats and cattle is much smaller than what was recommended on this site. Is it safe to give dogs the larger dose 1 ml per 5 lbs. I have a large dog and do not want to overdose her. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Hi molleebo. Just wanted to let you know that though I didn't get an answer here I did get it somewhere else. Yes, 1 ml per 5 lbs of dog weight is the correct dose. I used it with my puppies without any problems. Healthy and worm free!
