Hi! I'm a proud beagle parent to Lucy Belle, who is 5. I love her to death. She's my first beagle and I just fell in love with the breed. Glad to see there are others who share my sentiments! (Lucy does have a sister, a black lab-mix named Stella Blue- they are buddies and don't like to be separated from each other.)

Howdy! I am a big believer in companion doggies. I got my second beagle, who was an only doggie at the time, a puppy --- a golden retriever. They bonded big time, and the beagle definitely knew the other dog was her puppy.

It's not just cute to have two, but dogs need dog companionship. My second beagle was an only child for a bit. The change in her when I got her a puppy was enormous. She loved her puppy, even when said puppy grew to be 4 times her size lol
