I need help on how best to house-train my new Beagle. Can anyone share any tip or your experiences in house-training?

Try this-- During his first week on your house, have a schedule on when to bring him outside and stick to it. This will conveny a message that he can do his thing outside. The usual times include early in the morning, after each meal, before bed, and times when he seems to be excited and does not settle down.

When you're at it, don't forget to heap lavish praise and a treat or two whenever he relieves himself outside...That should do wonders

Try enrolling him in an obedience class. There is an age requirement for that so you'd better ask around. An obedient dog knows that you are the leader of the pack and that will give you an edge in training him.

Repetition big time. Lots and lots of praise and love. Your puppy is a baby, remember that and give that love and attention the puppy needs to want to learn.

and don't forget your puppy's favorite treats. provides a more positive ambiance for training

Definitely. Treats are great. However, you have to get them to perform so to speak on the command and not just because they are getting treats.
