I just started up with rabbit hunting again after many years off due to military duties. (like 23 years off) I currently have 5 beagles that I was able to pick up at decent prices but like the saying goes, "nobody gets rid of their good dogs". They are jumping good and trail until the rabbit makes it's first turn and that normally results in back trailing. How can I fix this? If the weather holds up for saturday I am borrowing a more experienced male hoping this might help.
Last weekend I shot one rabbit and found out 4 out of 5 are obviously gun shy.
