Hi my family and I are looking for a new beagle to join our family. We recently lost our oldest beagle and our surviving beagle is not handling it too well. After about a month of depression and being lonely (our beagle is feeling this way) we have determined that it would be best to get him a companion. We are looking for a beagle who is one to eight years of age, we prefer a male, and he has to be great with small children and other dogs. We will in Idaho and so far we have been unsuccessful in finding one at our local shelters and through the beagle rescue. If anyone knows of a beagle who is available, please message me. Thank you for the suggestion. We have been checking that site often, beagle seem to be non existant right now.

I just saw this post - I'm so sorry for your loss. You might try "Seattle Beagle Rescue" - they have quite a few available dogs - however, they will not ship them out of state. Where are you located in Idaho? I'm in eastern WA and sometimes foster for SBR.
