My little puppy seems to be peeing every 30 minutes or so particularly during daytime when water is available at all times. At night time, we stop giving him water after 7:00 and he does not wet his crate. But daytimes are a different story. Is this normal for a 3-month-old beagle?

Dogs urinate every now and then to mark certain spots and establish boundaries. It is said that they never totally empty their bladders.

There's also the phrase "dribbler piddler" which points to a puppy that pees often but in small amounts. If your puppy is drinking lots of water it will surely urinate a lot because its bladder right now is very small.

Its ability to hold urine will improve with time. Have patience.
