Most of the beaglers here use kennels. Mine are tied up on cable till the weather gets better. My question is how many of you use kennels and why. Should I use one also. Thanks.

My beags are both indoor dogs with a fenced in yard. If I had to choose, I would pick a kennel though.

I always thought kennels didn't have enough room for them.

All my beagles, except the two in the house, are kenneled. I feel they are safer in a kennel than tied out. Marauding coyotes or raccoons are my biggest concern. However chains also break. It's also a room problem; I have four beagles of my own plus one I am working with for a friend.

I agree either indoors or in a kennel. I'd be afraid of predators, and especially yotes in particular that may want a Beagle snack.

Predators are the same reason I'd prefer a kennel too. Mine is an indoor puppy as well, but I am thinking about setting up a kennel at some point when the weather gets nicer.

Kennell is best for them. We always use kennell for our boys. It is comfortable for them as compared to tie out.
