My beagle

I have a two year old male beagle and he without fail constantly licks and bites his feet, to the point of litteraly licking the hair off his feet? I dont understand whats going on here. Fred does this to all his feet with no partialality towards any one of them. Does anyone know whats going on here. Please advise me and thank you. Dave.p

Is there a possibility of mites in that area? so what's the condition of its feet now? is it reddish, does it have any scratch or wounds, scabs, etc?

A fungal infection can also be a possibility...
