My Blue and Tri colored Tied

The good news is my Blue and Tri Color Beagles have tied over 6 times in 3 days. This is great. This will be her first litter and his for that matter. The question is what is the average number of pups do beagles have for their first litter. I am stoked. Before anyone asks my female is 2.5 yrs old and my male is 3.5 yrs old. I have waited a long time to mate them. The best answer I have been given seems to 3 to 5 pups for beagles, but I know there are several veteran beagle breeders on here, so I would like to know a little of your knowledge. I ask that no one bash me for allowing them to mate. They are both registered AKC and I have been preparing for this for a long time. I am very excited and looking for first hand knowledge. Thanks
