Being new in the Beagler neighborhood is not so easy....I can promise you that.

It's been right under 24 hours and we almost felt like we had a newborn baby in the house last night....I would not recommend deworming at home unless you are prepared to see a mess.....yuck.

But on a more positive note....they are some of the most affectionate dogs...and even though Mr Buddy Beagle as he is known in the Sessions' home...decides to poo on the bedspread at 4am.....I still love him. It's the eyes I think....

So if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions for two new parents..er Beaglers...feel free to share.

Thanks!

I agree; a new beagle is a little like getting a newborn baby. After a few months, a beagle grows up to be like a 2-year-old child, then stays that way for the rest of its life. Luckily though, you can leave beagles at home for a few hours without hiring a babysitter.
