Hi there, new to the site but need some help with my 7month old Beagle named Dug. Here is some background. We live in Peace River Alberta and have had our family pup for about 4 months now. We dont have trainers in our town so am looking online for help. We have 3 kids 9 , 6, and 3 years of age. We love our Dug but are having some major training issues with him. I know from the research that they are stubborn dogs but need some tips or where to find some. He has chewed almost everything around including 3 kid bike seats, lots of garbage, shoes, toys or anything we
didnt catch or missed picking up. Our potty training is going okay but he has his spots he sneaks away and goes. I know you dont hit Beagles but
when you find him on the kitchen counter I can only whack his butt and put him outside in frustration. Our yard is fenced in very well so having him outside is okay. He is crate trained and sleeps inside in his crate with no issues. We are busy people and I know we are to blame with his behaviour issues but are close to giving up. I have found a couple of on line Beagle help books but any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you in
advance. Shad
