I used a retractable once when I went to a park with my friend. I had forgotten Toby's and so I had to use her dog's extra. He chewed through it in a second, not because he doesnt like leashes, but because it would tangle around him and it made him mad. plus, i am scared he is going to go little dog syndrome on a big dog and something happens before i can lock it. its a scared contraption.
