Can anyone tell me the safest anti-flea medication for my hanna? She gets fleas every now and then particularly when we go on our walks and when she "socializes" at the nearby dog park.

When my two beagles were still very young, the vet gave me oral flea medication. I think it was Capstar.

I used a flea and tick collar when my beagles were still puppies. It works great!

try a topical anti-flea that you just apply on its neck. I used that for my puppy and I really had no problems with fleas

I use a tick and flea collar. It is very effective in keeping these pests away and I guess it's also much safer for my dog.

Since it's already 3 months old, you can now use one of those spot-ons such as Advantage or Frontline. I used that for my Nancy since last month when she turned 3 months old.
