Histiocytoma , I am scared
Is anybody has or had the same problem?
About two weeks ago I found a little bump on Ace's ear on the outside.
I thought is nothing and will go away, well it didn't. Today I took him to the vet. She says it's an adenoma, now it is 2 mm. I have to take him again in a month if it grows she removes it with laser. I found another really small one on his leg.
He is just a little more than two.
Will it be over with the removal or will he grow more?

You can never be sure. I had the same problem with a Labrador Retriever several years ago. After the vet removed it, it never came back. Prior to that it was growing fast.

Hi Kutyuska ,

I have had this with some of my rescue dogs in the past. Ace is a young dog , just follow the advice of your Vet and all should be good. Of the dogs of mine that had surgery all did fine. Don't worry, your Vet will take care of Ace just fine .

I think the removal will be permanent as long as the adenoma is not that severe. How much is the removal?

Here in LA it's too much, $200-300.
I took my dog to another vet for a second opinion and he gave antibiotic for the skin.
After two weeks it went away , never came back on that place. He got a few more but I have a cream and it stops them.
So far so good.
