I'm hoping someone out there might be able to help us....we had to put our 13 year old beagle Rocky to sleep in February..it broke our hearts. He was a purebred, but we never got his papers from the woman (Marie Casey) that sold him to us. We don't even know what his registered name was supposed to be. We met his brother (I think his "name" was Tito) at the Key City Kennel club show in New Ulm, MN in 1998 and fell in love with the breed. Rocky had an illegal white marking on his back, so we were told, as he was being sold to us as a companion. His brother was owned and shown by Dan Greenwald of Mankato, MN. And one of his parents had a kennel name of "Bunny".

Rocky had a wonderful personality and was a great little dog. If there is anyone that remembers back or knows how I could find registration information. Maybe there is someone that knows Marie?

We would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

I am so sorry for your loss. The loss of a very special friend after that many years can be very hard on you. RIP Rocky........
After that many years I am not sure what to say about papers. I would try and contact long time breeders in that area and ask how to go about your investigation.
You may even find someone who knows Marie Casey.

Good Luck , oldhoundog

Thanks for the suggestion...I'll see what I can find. We don't have very many breeders, if any around here that have Beagles. Maybe I should say that I have been able to find. I did remember that someone had told us one of the littermates might have been sold to the owners of Fuji Film....13 years is a long time ago. He was a very special little dog!
