I hear alot of guys wait till their pups are about 5 months untill they start working with them. I've raised several pups and I like to get them in the woods as soon as they're up moving around good, around 8 to 10 weeks just to get them used to the enviroment and get them comfortable in the woods. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to this?

I think it's the perfect strategy, get them used to that environment and when they're a little older start working them.

I agree whether it's strolling or fishing get them out there .
