My 3 yr old Beagle's tail has always stood nearly straight up, until today. Now it is curved downward. Has anyone experienced anything similar? It doesn't seem to be broken, nor is it sensitive to the touch. It's just different...any ideas?

I have seen that before with my beags. I think they can sprain the tail. I would keep an eye on it for a few days and it should go back up.

This could have been limber tail. My beagle had it twice in her 7 years, it can be caused by a very cold bath or just cold weather. It can be a little painful but only lasts a few weeks at the most. It's common among hunting/working breeds.
