I have brother and sister. She is hunting on her own but he seems unintrested. Is it normal for male to start later?

My experience is like yours (I've shared that space b4 lol ) . I have a 2yo male that I work with from a pup . I started him out @5mos. on 2 pet rabbits ( bait & chew ) .Once I got them to run the game was afoot in the backyard . However in the field it turned out to be a nice walk communing with nature . For 3mos this went on much to my chargrin .Then one day in the 4th mo. the lite turned on . OMG what is he doing ?? Oh wow he's hunting.So shocked I actually a rabbit was chasing him . So I tell people that he started hunting at 10mos. but by 1yr you'd think he was a veteran .
